Metal CAC pipe

Looking for any reviews on the mostly metal CAC pipe replacements out there. My truck is going to stay stock so it’ll have to be one that works with stock tuning. The two I have been looking at are the Pusher intakes one with the throttle valve adapter. The other is the Sinister diesel one. I’ve disliked Sinister since my 6.0 days but the design for the 6.7 is pretty cool. It’s a one piece with only a small silicone piece that connects at the intercooler. So if you have either of these two your opinions on them would be great.

It's pretty much a do-nothing modification that increases sound and decreases volumetric efficiency:

I know h&s and spe both make them and there a couple other brands. I would avoid spe if you need it right away as they take long time to ship their parts out.I still have the stock one on my truck. I would just leave the stock one alone until you actually have a problem with it. You really won't see any benefits besides that i won't blow apart like stock ones have been known to do.

Yeah I’m just trying to be preventative since I tow heavy. I ended up ordering the Sinister Diesel one today. It was 15% off and free shipping. Got it in grey. I’ll post a review once I install it. Said they were 1/2 weeks out though.

Does that even apply to the CAC (charge air cooler) pipe? I dont think they have any resonator(s) on the stock intercooler pipe.

Yeah I was torn between what I ordered and your setup. Went sinister cause I liked that it only has two total clamps used at the intercooler side. I’ll let you know how it goes. Hopefully I made a good choice.

Got the Sinister pipe faster than expected. I forgot to take a picture before but I have an after picture. It fits great and the fit and finish is nice. I like the grey color also because its less noticeable. Heres the pics.
