Does Adding the Tow Package Decrease the Departure Angle of the Ranger?
I'm pretty impressed that a Ranger can tow up to 7,500 lbs. However, I mostly want the Ranger for off-road use so I'm wondering if adding the option trailer hitch will reduce the departure angle for the Ranger?

As with most trucks, the rear hitch will reduce the departure angle somewhat. Many people like having the tow hitch as it can act like a skid plate protecting the rear bumper to a degree.
