Hey there folks, I have Cooper ST Maxx tires that I brought over from my F150. They are 295/70/18 E rating. I looked at the DOT number and 2 of them show 0518 (which is 5th week 2018, or 1/28 - 2/3 week). The other 2 have nothing in the oval that the date is supposed to be in, assume they are also 0518. The recall covers Feb 1 2018 to Dec 2019. My question, when is the week counted, beginning or end. Since the 1st falls in the middle of that 5th week, would I be part of it. I do not need new tires, and have not had any issues with them, but if anyone knows, it would be appreciated. I will be calling at end of month when the official recall starts to see what they say.
All tires manufactured that week no matter the day should carry the same date stamp. I am not confident you could determine the exact date unless Cooper has another code on the tire internal to the company. Additionally, the two tires with the blank stamp will have the date stamp on the inside sidewall. The date stamp is often only printed on one side.

Good info, will have to crawl under truck tomorrow and take a look. Although, with Mainebucks comment, I am not part of it. That is the first time I have seen a breakdown of all of the tires. Crisis averted, but would have been nice to get a free set of tires..

Heck yeah! I would have run them all summer before I turned mine in! I have STT Pro's and I don't see them on the list.
