My '63 F600 still has the "widowmaker" 2 piece wheels on the front. There were only four of the M35A "deuce & a half" 6 lug wheels/tires posted n a local classified ad awhile back, and i bought them. Apart from having to find new lugs, the stock wheels are hub centered, and the deuce wheels are lug centered . My question here is are there any other reasonably priced altenatives to the stock 'widowmakers"? i probably would not like the price of chrome wheels, but that's what i really want. Thanks!

I see that you live in SC, a state with a proximity to military installations. I did a Google search and found three military surplus sellers in SC, and also saw listings for GSA federal surplus. I’d suggest “bird *******” these sellers and see if there are military heavy equipment yards within reasonable distances that could yield a couple more wheels. I know of such yards from personal visits out west, but you don’t want to have to ship wheels if you can avoid it. Otherwise any salvage yard that has 2 ton Dodge, IHC, or F-600 hulks would be your best source. Stu
