Pelican Cargo Cases?

Just ordered their BX135 to mount to my slide out?

Only thing I didn’t like at order is it doesn’t come with any foam. Not huge as I ordered separately and suppose many that want this don’t care about the foam, but I want to separate some gear etc.
Anyhow, just curious if anyone has used yet?

This is a great idea....!
For foam, your hardware store likely sells insulation spray foam kits in a propane like tank. With that, you could mold-your-own foam any way you need/like.

Yes, they look nice, I was looking at a Monoprice unit on Amazon, but thought I’d look at Pelican before I pushed that damn “purchase now” button..
This was similar in price and looks better built.
I was going to hard mound to slide out, but decided to just buy some D-rings and short transom ratchet straps. Case has metal mounting points so should be able to get secure enough. Liked this idea better as I can remove easier if needed!
I’ll post pics once it’s mounted!

I have a couple SledLocxx
I don’t want sliding around everywhere when not in use and other gear. Goal is to cutout an outline to place on top, then other stuff below.
I’m honestly a little disappointed in their new cargo cases. The unit looks really good and the lid, latches and mounting points are nice. However, when I first opened you can literally see light coming through the sides and bottom and they are pretty flimsy.
The lid is double walled and reinforced, but not the side or bottoms. I would say if its securely mounted it’ll be fine, but if there is heavy gear inside or it’s sliding around the bottom or sides won’t last long.
Overall it’ll do what I need, but for the price could/should be better...

Yes, don’t get me wrong it’s definitely better than a storage box from Home Depot, but was expecting a little better from Pelican.
Model number is: BX135

The load-out box has big rubber feet on the bottom and stays in place, so it doesn't even need to be tied down. I added a bungee strap for the bucket to keep it in place. The cargo box allows me to keep all my stuff clean and dry and most importantly, out of the cab. The bucket helps when I need to pack a few tools or something back and forth somewhere.

pros- very strong, pour downpour water resistant, lockable, big storage area (easily fits milk crates), perfect fit in the space the decked draw system creates.
cons- its about 4" higher than I need, lid seems to be bowed (may be lock style)
I would swap it in a minute for
