I found myself with a large number of Ford Rewards points and not inclined to use them for service. So after scanning the Ford Super Duty Accessories I came across the Putco Tec Rails. These are expensive ($600) so I cant say I would have normally considered them. But they cost me $35 + points and when I opened them today I have to say they are the nicest bed rails I have ever seen. I had no interest in the TEC bed system which is overkill for what I wanted. But the size and build quality of these rails is really the best I have ever seen. Even nicer is that you can mount them using the stake pockets and not interfere with your tonneau cover. I have a Truxedo Sentry CT and the rails fit nicely. The rails will bring you roughly 3" off the top of the bed rails and if you add the Putco Tec cross rails they add an additional 9". So you will have no issue with many roll up (including the CT) when the cross rails are in place. 500 lbs per corner load capacity far exceeds what I would get with a Yakima Foot kit setup. I can't say enough about the sheer heft and build quality of the technology rails. really all built and great matte black powdercoat. over aluminum extrusion. Pictures to follow as soon as it stops snowing.

Where did you come across a place to shop for Super Duty accessories? For some reason I was given an extra 42,000 points so now I sit here with 111,000 points. With the miles I put on, (or lack of) I won't use those points on oil changes before another new truck comes down the pike and I get thousands more points. Hate to lose them. But they didn't cost me any extra, so I guess it won't be tragic if they expire.
