I have been searching after a rough idle for months on my truck. Replaced the EGR/EVP...which did help a little, but it certainly wasn't it.
It turned out to be the Air Charge Temp Sensor (ACTS), which didn't throw a code, but I figured it was either that or the coolant temp sensor since I only got the rough idle when it is warm.
Don't know why it didn't throw a code, but it was the problem and now it is fixed for $20 and lots of headaches gettin there.
Thanks for all the help I got, it was good suggestions.
symptoms were a stumbling idle when hot. I think this leads many to believe it is the EGR. The sensor is located on the lower intake manifold, just under the fuel rail by the schrader valve used for testing fuel pressure. There is a 2 pin plug on it. I'm surprised we don't hear more about this sensor since it is a plug with a little wire hanging on the inside of it...must go often and fairly quick compared to other sensors. Don't forget to pull the battery cable to clear the computer memory when you do it.
