My buddy has a '97 F-150 Lariet. Great truck but recently is having problems with no headlights. All other lights are working. I removed the switch and tested it using a Haynes manual for a guidline. According to the manual, the autolamp portion of the switch was bad...problem solved?....Nope! We bought a new switch and installed it....same thing.
Does anyone have any insight to what else could be wrong? Is there an autolamp module that could have gone bad?
Is there any way to disableremove the autolamp feature? At this point, he really doesn't care about it and just want's to be able to drive after dark.
