I wonder if this would manifest as a rattling? I heard a rattle coming from what sounded like the glove box area yesterday. I couldn't pinpoint it or determine a cause, but it could've been a bit higher. My truck was built in the timeframe above.

Interesting, I've had the same rattle come and go in the upper glove box area, too. My truck was built 11/20.
It will cost them some money but atleast it's not a fuel cell that can blow up. Small inconvenience to the owners of the trucks to get it reinstalled unless maybe you're in Alaska.
Greeeeeat. Both mine and my brother's '21s fall into this. Built in 11/20 and 12/20. I am going to be so unimpressed when my windshield starts leaking after they "fix" it. Hopefully they farm the job out to Safelite.

That's just the standard Super Duty glove box rattle 😆. But seriously, my 2019 has a rattle from the same glove box area. My wife thinks from the upper box, my son just points at the general area.
I windshield with failed adhesion can clap when hitting bumps if its a large enough section thats failed, but what is more likely would be air noise.
So disappointing to see that there's an issue with the windshields.
The glass seems cheaper, thinner these days and now they cant get the sealant correctly...Is this a robot or a union worker who installed the adhesive? Makes me wonder.
I would be pissed....Some of these window replacement companies, which ford will use in many areas..do more damage removing the existing glass..Scratching the paint the paint finish under the glass and 99% of them wont re paint the scratched up areas, Glass chips in the dash vents.
I feel for ya'll
Scratching paint on windshield removal mainly comes from a tool called an extractor. They separate a windshield from the body quickly, but
are a very aggressive tool.
Safelite and many windshield shops use a tool that uses wire or string to cut the urethane. Typicall runs against glass, not the body.
I just looked at mine, build date 10/20. Now I believe the wind noise I am hearing may be from this problem. Initially I attributed it to the thinner glass or from one of the front doors. Well here we go .......... To the "OP", Thanks for the advanced notice.
This sucks, my truck that I've had for a week was built 1/20. Do I need this to be addressed ASAP? Do I wait to see if I have an issue? What should I do?
