There's a lot more to it than just cutting a hole. The inner structure is critical to support the cab around the filler tube. Remember, this is the area adjacent to the rear cab mount and needs to be rigid.
If all that is needed is the outer skin then the process could be as simple as cutting the hole...good luck with getting an aftermarket repair panel to line up with the filler tube housing.
