Interesting video on how to identify counterfeit motorcraft parts. Some of the counterfeit parts are in scary good looking packaging. Buying off Ebay or Amazon and such could cause you to end up with a deep fake. Watch if you want its a little long. Sandy

 

Interesting. I had no idea this was going on.

 

I haven't run across it with Motorcraft parts, but I sure have with NGK Spark Plugs, and NTK Oxygen Sensors.

 

Good heads up Video, keep the old one but even then if they change design a bit how do you know unless you use enough?

I can see that bail on the plug coming loose on the fake and holy crap. Even the darker print would seem to be better than the gray. Wow.

 

I think the best thing I got out of the video is the air relief cuts in the plastic packaging.

 

About the only way to tell is to have both of them side by side and you REALLY scrutinize it
