First time posting on here so I apologize if I’m posting in the wrong place, I’m looking into buying a 03 f350 with 130,000 km on it and i haven’t seen the truck in person yet but in the photos is looks like the box is sagging really bad it looks like it doesn’t line up with the cab right? The owner says there’s nothing wrong with it though I want to get a second opinion
The cab bushings are also prone to rotting, especially the rear ones on a CC so the back of the cab could be sagging also making it look like the upper body lines are still lined up.
That bed isn't rotted. the top of the bed lines up with the bottom of the side window and the upper body lines match. That is REALLY bad body work. Notice the wheel arch body line disappears in front of the wheel? And there's something wrong with the rear of that panel also. I bet there's a half inch of body filler on there. Run away.
You could probably even it out with a few pounds of body filler applied to the bottom rocker panel. You could sculpt it with your hands and spray paint it.
