I have 2002 F250 I manually locked the hubs. when I do that ,those front wheels will spin correct? I'm only seeing the passenger wheel spin. the driver side doesn't in 4wd.
Thanks for any info.
If you're seeing one wheel spinning both hubs are definitely locked. You have an open front diff (or even if you have a factory limited grip, you still have an open front diff), which means it'll happily let only one wheel spin.
Furthermore, if both hubs were not locked you would not see EITHER front wheel get power. It would simply choose to spin the axleshaft of the unlocked side.

Yup what he said..
That is why I put detroit lockers in both ends.. Works great in snow for plowing etc. truck will climb over anything..2 tires on ice no problem.
