Transfer case hi lo question

Nice and clean inside the transfer case? It only had ATF in it so it should be. Make sure you flush that penetrating oil out of there with fresh ATF.
Remove the bent linkage, straighten it out and reinstall. Shouldn’t be too hard to do. That should fix the indicator Reverse lights work off the switch on the side of the transmission where the shift linkage is located. Speedometer is cable driven. Off the back of the transfer case. Sounds like the stick ripped up everything in that area.
