Check Engine Light

I am getting a p20ba code on 2013 f350 with 6.7 diesel. Called my dealer and they quoted me $1200 to replace the def tank assembly. I know the code is for the def heater so why replace the entire tank. I have looked up the heater and it cost me about $289. Dealer said no one replaces the heater, its better to put the entire tank assembly in. Maybe better for them but not me. Anyone ever replace a def heater and if so was it a pain to do?

I just did it last week on my 2014. Not much more to swap the heater anyway once you get the tank out. Not to bad, there is a real good vide from a parts place that is pretty good on how to do it. I highly suggest drain the tank before putting it back as it does make it easier. Just give yourself a good couple of hours and watch the connectors.
