ok have been searching cant find anything with this exact problem. Right rear tire locked up jack it up it turns freely put the weight of the truck on the tires locks up removed drive shaft and all the brakes does the same thing with the truck jacked up i can engage and disengage the elocker seems to work fine. heres the catch it moves and drives fine in reverse. My 2013 f150 eccoboost 2wd 9.75 rear end 3.31 gears with the elocker. any body else ever have anything like this
With the right rear brake drum off is the park brake apply lever seized? Sometimes the park brake shoe lining separates from the shoe and will make it difficult to remove disc drum.
Broken side gear cross pin retainer. Pull the cover and look for ruined spider gears and a Broken pin.
pulleed the pin which has a little play the spider gears have some slack in them and make a some noise when i move them by hand with the pin in place axle shafts removed when i barely pry out on the spider gears it seems to lock up.
Sorry for last comment, Missed one of your replies. I did find a video explaining how the e-locker works which I found interesting. Especially about the initial axle slip when engaging. Starts at 4:17.
