Sure it's got it flaws, they all do. But I am pretty sure it can be picked up for less than 10K. Post up in your thread with pics and let us know you are really interested and you will get some skilled eye look over response's.
I always read these posts with interest because they make me feel so much better about paying what I did for mine. It's truly crazy what the classic truck market is bringing these days. Everytime I stop for gas it seems someone wants to know if I'll sell it.
Yes I agree for 28,500 for that truck, makes me get on the fence about selling my blue truck again. I mean come on I have 3 trucks, I do not need 3 trucks. I had the blue one sold a while back, at least step one (a price and a date to come look it over was set). Then it felt like I was selling one of my kids and changed my mind. The about to be new owner figured I was going to change my mind and understood. Come to find out he wanted a EFI rig for his wife anyway, so no harm no foul.

It’s not about “need”. If you don’t need the money , keep the truck. I only have two but I’m always looking for another.

I have 5, I don't need 5, and I agree, selling one would feel like selling one of my kids! I always have someone come up when I drive them asking if I want to sell it, any of them, but especially my 77 4x4/SB "Sid" he's at 102,xxx original miles, original paint, it was a kid in fresburgs granpa's truck, he was having a baby and decided he needed the money more than an old truck.... lucky me I had cash and was happy to help out!!
Can't believe that one went for 28,500!! It does make me think about it, I hav'ta admit...

That makes sense for sure and you are 100% correct. But I "NEED"........well because........well because I am going to have to admit......because I have 2 early Bronco's in my life also. Lol That is the ONLY reason why I was going to sale the Blue truck. One hobby/habit fuels the other. And those EB's are a BAD expansive FUN habit to have. It's like joining a vehicular cult with benefits.
mrray hang in there and continue to look there are one or two out there or for you. Funny how they look better when wet. Lol

Thanks, it's starting to show its age now days. But hell at 43 you can expect a little wear to start showing thru. The red Bronco is bleeding WEAR and USE out the seams, but goes like a mountain goat on crack.
B E A UTIFUL truck 77&79! LMAO at "goes like a mountain goat on crack" my 77 shorty used to get all the wheeling adventures, and got a lot of manzanita pin-stripping from it I had to buff out, so now he just does the fun runs that don't involve possible scratches or dents, that's what Max my 77 F250/4x4 is for, now with the 351Measly rebuilt, he actually has power! Although he seems to suck gas like crazy, but maybe that's just me enjoying the skinny pedal too much right now time will tell.
Sorry to get off topic mray.. they are out there, patience, and x2 on the shipping for the right truck.
see if he'll keep the ugly a$$ 22's and offer $8000 https://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/d/...273732617.html
If there's one thing I've learned in 40 years at this game is DO NOT SETTLE. wait until you find what you want and you will find it. you may have to look outside the box , and it may cost a little more than you planned but it's out there.

The same thing can be said when looking for a wife....er I mean truck. I made the mistake early on in life and got one that was a rotten to the core Georgia peach....I managed to flip sale that one quick and waited a long time before getting another. Finally found one that was rust free and runs like a champ.
Ebay has some nice ones, and so do alot of high end car shop restro places. But 1'd have to fly out to it and get an actual eye on, when paying that big money.
