56 - Dash Extension & Column Drop ?

My MF dash extension & 3" chrome drop does not line up or match. Do I have to add on 3/8 + to one side of the extension to center the glove box recess? Do I need some gap for kick panels ? As for the drop do have to redrill the drop mount forward ? Any pictures?

From: Kemptville, ON,
I bought one for my'53. Same problem. Called to talk to them about it. They checked and the whole batch was the same. Gave me back my money and told me to keep the extension. It is now land fill. I think I had to cut it in 3 places and extend or shorten it to make it work. Looks like it is still a problem with their manufacture.

All of this is not even bolted. Just have random c grips holding it. Right side is not clamped. Yes you will have to have a gap at the ends so the kick panel will fit. I also had the Mid Fifty extension and was not really liking it. The glove box door was not lined up. At first I thought it was ok. But after really putting time into it, was not going to work. Marten gave me the inspiration to build another one.

I have a half to five eights inch gap on mine. It depends on your thickness of material and padding that your kick panels are
