Greetings to all,
It has come time to replace all leaf springs on my 6.0 Excursion. I want to stay with OEM spec spring. There are several vendors on line not sure who is reputable. For shocks I'm considering the Rancho RS9000XL Adjustable Shocks. Any input would be helpful.
I was looking at https://www.generalspringkc.com to buy a new set of rear leaf springs, but they said they are out of stock.
They said buy F250 springs instead, 1999 - 2007 Ford Super Duty rear leaf spring, 6(5/1) leaves, 3600 lbs capacity, but changing spring types is another long road of decisions. Especially if you have a lift and are trying to maintain a level stance.
There is ATS and SDS, but getting OEM is a challenge for some reason.
Thanks for the information. I will see if I can figure out the height differential. I wonder if F250 front springs will fit as well perhaps mitigating the height difference. I agree it creates more decisions, like ride quality.

Since the EX was sprung to ride about 2" lower (more family and garage friendly) than a similar year F-250 swapping in stock F-250 front springs will give that same 2" of lift over a stock EX.
For the Super Duty spring swap I don't think either of those will be an issue. Especially if your aren't flexing out the suspension articulation to max offroad.
I swapped in modded X codes for 3 7/8" of lift over stock on my highway cruiser tow rig EX and kept the stock brake lines and ABS harness for several years without any issues.
I would suggest calling Junior at ATS and tell him what you are looking for, he is a site sponsor and a fellow EX owner. https://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/
