I have seen the axle codes and other such, but mine seems to not match the guide i found, so perhaps im lost and looking at the wrong stuff, but here is my sticker.
ALSO, attached are some pictures of some loose wires that come off the main harness, 3 have covers over their tips, 1 does not. Anyone know what they were supposed to connect to, or what they are for?
Those are just the pass through wires. The other end is in the vehicle.
interesting, where exactly might the other ends be specifically?
Im guessing the previous owners didn't know about those as there is a fog light switch wired to the front bumper where a light used to be, still works too, looking for a light to put back there as i flipped the switch on and got my test light to come on from it, now i know what the rocker switch they drilled into the dash bezel is for.
As Gashog said above, those are the engine compartment ends of the factory passthrough wires for adding accessories, the other ends of them will be up under the steering column area.
Most, if not all '00 rigs are missing the axle and spring codes from the sticker. Yours is a RWD EX so standard gear ratio was 3.73 with an option of 4.30, if it turns below 2K RPMs at 60 MPH its the 3.73, over is the 4.30 ratio. Your springs will be G code rears (without the lift blocks or traction bars that the 4X4s have) like all EXs came with but I'm not sure about which front coils the V-10 RWD rigs came with.

Truck has 245/75/R16 Tires on it, not my doing, i plan to put 285/75R16 on when the tread runs down.
At 60 on the speedo, i am at right at 2k RPM, however GPS reports my speed is actually a little below 60, 55ish (suspect the tires) at 85 on the Speedo, i am doing 79-80 per GPS
However, i also also noticed, that the Tachometer is off by about 200 RPM as sitting at idle, the ECM reports on my display at 808-820 RPM, however at the same time the dash tachometer is reporting 1000 even.

IIRC a 245 tire will read around 4mph less than a 265.
