Lower deflector/Radiator shield replacement

I'm looking at replacing my worn lower air deflector/shield, which sits below the radiator, and noticed two radiator hoses that go through holes in the deflectors rubber. Do they really expect you to disconnect the hoses so you can feed the hoses through those holes in the new deflector?! I can cut away the old deflector, but am I going to have to flush the radiator just to get those hoses through them holes? Help! Thanks.

There is no coolant hoses that pass through it. The hoses are power steering and transmission if equipped with aux cooling.

Cut a slit in it then use some black duct tape or industrial sized staples to bind it together.

Personally I'd just slit it and leave as is.

You could cut slits punch holes and use small black zip ties
