97 7.3
97 duelly with the 7.3 Everytime I fix something on this truck (The list is long) something totally unrelated goes wrong. I put a water pump in it thee other day the truck ran fine with the leak after getting it back together I now have a sever missfire and the check engine light is on. I did a little detective work and the ICP sensor was leaking oil I put a new one in today hoping that was my issue but to no avail I have the same issue. I have an android app called CarBit and a foseal USB reader the 7.3 is listed in the Carbit app all it shows is the RPM's and the coolant temp its not showing codes. If I run the scan with the engine running it stalls. I'm at a loss I don't have a ton of money to bring it to a shop and I cant be just replacing sensors either. If someone can try to point me in the right direction that would be great. The ICP was leaking oil which from what I read is indicative of it failing.

My '97 PSD 7.3L arrives midday today. I have Torque Pro and bluetooth OBDII dongle, and was hoping/expecting to be able to read and reset codes. Can you elaborate on your comment?

torque pro is one of few that can read these trucks. Along with auto enginuity and one other I can’t seem to recall
