New to the forum! Been browsing and watching for a while, finally decided to seek knowledge.
To start im completely restoring my CCSB, but thats for another post! currently I have my 424k mile 7.3 on the engine stand with the heads off. Cylinder wall are damn near polished, gouged, and 5 of the 8 pistons are covered in carbon (other 3 look brand new). Appears a few pistons have kissed valves repeatedly! Will be around 550 rwhp I believe (parts I have now below)
Fluidamper or the other brand. Valve springs (most of us, incl myself run Comp 910s but other options are available) and all 16 valves as the heads will be trash. Balance the rotating assy, it is way out from the factory. ARP rod bolts.
Spend the cash on the foundation first. You can always install bigger injectors or the T4 later.
