I wouldn't buy Cooper STT Pro's ever again. They look cool, but the road noise is unbearable. From the moment I drove away from the tire shop, I couldn't wait until I could replace them!
That's funny, I actually had the opposite reaction about mine when I put them on my 89. They are quieter than any other MT I have ever used, and better than anything but an Interco TSL SX as far as offroad performance. Mine are 315/75R16s, what size were you running?

might be a dumb question but can the cooper at3 xlt be mounted with the white writing in I know some tires you can some you can’t
I really like my Toyo at3. Quieter and better ride than stock imo. I went with 295s. Love the look. Price is right also. But they are difficult to find but maybe they are catching up on the back order now
I got mine at Americas tire last week, he said he snagged them from somewhere in the midwest and got them sent out here so maybe they are trickling in?
Excellent color choice on your truck btw

So i got these put on today. This is my first ever set of Yokohama tires. In the 12 blocks from the tire store, they seem to ride well. Time will tell if this was a good choice.

I've been very happy with the Falken's I put on about a month ago. 2nd set that I've put on my vehicles in the past 6 months. Smooth, very quiet, snow peak rated and took minimal weight to balance out for a 35" tire. Not a very common name brand at the moment, but the same company makes Les Schwab's premium tire with a similar tread design. With price match, I was $258 per tire via Discount Tire for the 285/75R18 size. Absolutely zero regrets with this tire.
I am going to Cooper AT3 next or Michelin Defender (which is available in most of those sizes). Cooper is American made, no weird politics, and good reviews. Falkins have good reviews too and you cant beat the Defender on the highway and is ok for moderate off road.
Toyo AT2 (LT E rated) and AT3 have noise complaints if you search it. The Toyo AT3 is light weight compared to the competition which is great.
I run 295/65/20 Ridge Grapplers. I think they are more weekend warrior and they need to be rotated and balanced every 5,000-6,000 miles which is annoying as the oil change light comes on a thousand or so miles after that.

I have also been hearing a lot of good things about the Falkins only complaint I’ve heard is they are heavy
