need help with Ls vs lockers
Hello everyone
I need some advice on what would work best for me with what differential upgrade
I have a 99 ford ranger 4.0 2wd i have a 3 in lift with 32’s falkensat3w
I do some moderate trails and want to be confident in snow
this is my daily driver

To me, limited slip has a more gradual engagement and works fine while lockers are more rugged when locked and doing extreme things with one wheel in the air etc. This might be more of a question of price versus your desired outcome. Either way, about a third of the way down the main page is the "Small Chassis Trucks" section. In that is the "1983 - 2012 Ranger & B-Series" forum. Post over there and the folks there will have some advice for you.
