Hello,
I own a 2000 F650. The "abs light" is on and the abs does not work. I brought it in to Boyer Trucks in Minneapolis, MN and they said that the hydraulic control unit (which has the ABS computer mounted to it) is leaking brake fluid into the computer and causing it to not work. Boyer Trucks says that the part is discontinued. Can anyone help direct me towards a place that has these for sale or does anyone know of any info on how to buy a new one? I need the ABS in order to DOT the truck.
The part number on the unit is: yc35-2c346-ea. However, when I search for this part number it says that it is for a ford excursion or something. It doesn't make sense.
Try this website. Used is about the only way you can go.
Do you have any pictures of the unit? Are there any other numbers on the decals? Maybe a Meritor number?
norman15 did you figure anything out with your issue? I am looking for a replacement as well. Any direction would be helpful as I am in the same boat as you and have not been able to find even a used one to replace.
Ford told me that this unit was only used from 2000-2003 and they apparently are no where to be found.
the three on vander are not for a 2000-2003. The first one is for a 2004 and up the 2nd is an f750 and the third is a cab over truck which are non comparable. I have been checking with LKQ a few times a week and they do not have a truck in any of their yards in the year range for the correct part.
Local Ford parts guy gave me part number
YC3Z-2C219-EA but he said it was an engineering number. He was able to tell me that there are none available from Ford.
when you google that it doesn’t really come up anywhere
i have found a ton of the modules made by Wabco but mine has a Ford rage on it which of course is ripped. I can make out the YC3 and that is about it.

I take it you didn't call? Try calling Vander Haags as far as LKQ saying they don't have a truck I find that odd. I know personally there is 20+ of these trucks cut up currently in their Stockton CA yard. Whether they are inventoried is the question. These trucks are plentiful currently here. There is a mass extinction of old pre 2011 trucks in progress so the odds are good one will become available. I will even ask in person on Monday when I go out there for you.
I have called LKQ and provided the number locally and they are lookin into it further. My shop is dealing with Vander right now and I have a call into Cardone as they may be able to repair my current one. If you go on Monday and inquire that would be great. From what I found it has to be a 2000 to 20003 f650 with the Cummins 5.9 hydraulic breaks. I have even looked locally to find a used one to rob it from and there are zero of these years for sale in minnesota.
