gasket differences in 94 vs 95 460 engine?
Today I'm here to discuss Clyde, my 1994/1980 hybrid F250. Here's how Clyde sits right now.
Basically, everything you see in the picture is a 94 F250. Unfortunately, the engine needs to come out, and i decided while out, i would do a simple re-gasket to take care of some minor leaks. The previous owner told me that at some point, this engine was swapped, the original 460 had let go. So, i went on rockauto to price out a gasket set, and noticed that the Fel Pro gasket set is a different number than my 95 and 97 460 engines took. Sure enough, the gasket sets are listed as 87-94 and 95-97. Because i am unaware of what year engine this is, can anyone tell me, what the difference between the gasket sets are?
Note: i am going to run both block number and cylinder numbers, to properly identify what i have, after I get the engine out and hanging. I was just trying to decipher what the difference in 460s was between 94 and 95.
