FORScan questin

New super duty owner, first post. Picked up a 2017 f350 xlt on New Years. Been doing some reading/research. For those that have/use FORScan. What do you prefer? Wired, or Bluetooth?

I vote for wired. I probably needlessly worry about a glitch with wireless. I guess it is a bit of paranoia, but messing up one of the computers or modules concerns me.

Wired when using my MacBook Pro to make changes. Bluetooth when using Lite to monitor EGT’s or read codes, reset adaptive tables etc.

Bluetooth here, no issues and no worries. Either will do the job, wired is less expensive. The important thing is to get one that is good quality and known to work with FORScan.

A better place for this question is the FORScan forum itself. Choosing an adapter isn't an opinion, it's 100% fact-based. Tables 2.1 and 4.1 led me to buy the OBDLink EX because it's the only one that will work for all my anticipated needs. Your needs may vary:

Plenty of wired options out there, I tend to break them or lose them so I buy the cheap ones with the switch. So far no issues and Forscan shows .2ms response.
