USPS tracking ( Tseekins?)
My whole deal is that suddenly tracking was available at stamps.com/ship. Seemed strange since they seemed to be set up to sell stuff. About the same time USPS tracking seemed to be having some issues. I thought that possibly a change was in the works. Doesn't make much sense to me that there would be duplicate services.
As far as Amazon doing their own delivery, I'm not sure who well that's going to work. I know that some time back they announced something about discontinuing UPS and they were starting their own delivery. The only experience I had with that was pretty funny. I was notified of a delivery that I didn't get. I contacted Amazon and they said well, we'll send another one. So, I was checking their site a little more and I noticed that the delivery picture they had looked like my neighbor's house. (He was away for quite a while). I'm out in the sticks and the delivery guy apparently didn't understand which driveway was for my mailbox. Anyway, I hotfooted it over there and picked up my package. Before I called Amazon back, the 2nd delivery was reported -- also a no show. This one was sent to the BACK of the neighbor's house. There was a note on the front that deliveries should go to the back, so I guess the guy figured that was the problem.
I tried doing a return online with Amazon, but I couldn't make it clear that I was returning an extra delivery. I did actually talk to somebody in their new shipping service. After a great deal of effort she was able to convince the system that I was returning an extra package. She also said that she could put a geofence around my house for future deliveries -- but everything since has mainly come from USPS with an occasional UPS or Fedex.
Seemed to me at the time that they didn't know as much about doing deliveries as they thought that they did
