Don't think they're too expensive, probably $150 or so. Hardest part of the installation is making sure they're aligned properly, holes cut, and sealed to prevent moisture. I believe the electrical harness exists even if they weren't installed from the factory. There are some good youtube videos on it.
None of my Super Duties have had clearance lights and, although I like the look, i’m just fine with not having an extra 15 holes in the roof. Caboveramerica.com sells a set of wireless lights, no drilling required but they’re a little pricey.
I wish I could give mine to you, I dont like look and I really don't like the holes. Had one leak in my old truck. Leaked just enough that it was hard to figure out where the leak was coming from.

Maybe the look will grow on out if you imagine your Super Duty to be a beautiful male peacock strutting it’s plumage so all the other trucks know how big, strong, and virile he is.
Might even make you put three or four rows of them in the grille.
