Why Is my ABS Module??
Sorry not WHY - Where Is my ABS Module. They won't let me edit the title
I have a 2004 F350 6.0 diesel PU. The other day I had to make a panic stop going backwards (because an idiot blew a stop sign). The truck stopped fine but right after that the next time I stepped on the brakes it went to the floor and wouldn't pump up. In researching I think I might have blew my ABS Module. I don't see any leaks like a line ruptured so all signs point to my Module.
First of all am I right in thinking it's the ABS module and secondly where the heck is it located on my truck?
Thanks for your help.

IIRC the brake lines from the master to the abs module are flex lines so you can remove the cab without cracking open brake lines. Since those are a rubber product they would most likely be the reason for your leak. They may not squirt like you describe. It would depend on the size of the leak. Most likely it will leak at the crimp ends. The other thing is the system is pressurized and sealed so the abs module shouldn't allow no brake pedal at all. You now have air in the system somewhere or your master quit pumping. I doubt you have a bad abs but do have a bad leak or a bad master.
