Hello my name is Pete, I’m from south Jersey and I’m new to the forums. I have a 2003 Excursion V10 4x4. I bought an Excursion instead of an F250 because I have 3 dogs that I take with me when I pull my travel trailer. I met Tom aka WE3ZS at Four Seasons Campground in south Jersey. You met the 6.8 4x4 Gurus on this site when you met WE3ZS. He has helped me immensely, and still does, as I am rebuilding my Ex this year.
There are some very knowledgeable folks, here, and are willing and patient enough to help Ex lovers in the right direction, no matter how thick their/my skull might be.

im looking forward to pulling my 30’ TT this year with one of my v10 excursions. I’m not big on camp grounds, I’m more of a primitive camp site in the woods kind of guy.
Welcome!! We just purchased our 2001 V10 4wd Excursion this past November for pretty much the same reason as you. There are 5 of us that usually go on our camping trips (6 if mu college son goes) along with 3 dogs. We pull a 30' bunkhouse TT, so I need the room of an SUV that could tow 10K. So far it has worked great and already an stockpiling parts for upgrades this spring.
