I placed an order last Friday for an F150 Pwerboost. Does anyone have a clue as to how long it takes to get a retail build. I contacted the dealer yesterday and they told me it still shows up as unscheduled. Is there a way to track it without having to contact the dealer?
Once it gets a vin, you can use this site to ck progress and est delivery. I ordered my Lariat on Dec 21 and it started down the assembly line this week. They say delivery to dealer is set for Mar 16. https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

You also must consider the production problems Ford had when the new F150 hit the market so more than likely, that’s why it’s taking so long or the three months that you listed.
With that being said, when a Ford vehicle is ordered, excluding Ford specialty vehicles, normal delivery time is 6-8 weeks......give or take a week.

Honestly I had no idea they had production issues with the F150, I wasn’t in the market for one until recently. Truth is I sold my F250 as part of a package deal with my 5th wheel so we’re down to one car right now, I never realized how inconvenient that would be. Also there is a $2500 factory rebate that expires 3/31 so I need delivery before then.
They told me from the get go that there was more of a hold up with the transportation than the build. If not already, the build will be done in a day or so, meaning over a month for delivery. Big shortage in truck drivers across America.

.
Go talk to your dealer about the 2500 bucks. I had that come in the mail and they can even look your name in their system. The 2500 dollars was good for me when I ordered it, not the delivery

mine specifically says delivery. If we get close and still no truck I’ll get to Ford and explain that the need to honor it, after all I’d take the truck today if they will build and deliver it.

i would ck with your sales person to ck their system to see if there is a PCO in your name. Stands for private cash offer I believe. That’s where my 2500 rebate it listed at with Ford.

I ordered my KR on 8.6.2020.... I am still waiting. It was built on 1.21
RCSB XLT FX4 loaded up .. I ordered here in San Antonio on Oct. 8. Built Jan. 25. In transit . Went from Kansas city to rail yard in Illinois, it shows Feb. 25 end date. but no darn ETA.
