OT: Anyone else having issues with the new Cloudflare WAF?

It seems like there are three types of experiences.
1) cloudflare splash screen that very quickly goes to the form - annoying
2) a cloudflare hijack screen that requires proof of being human. The puzz le can sometimes be difficult to pass. Very annoying and off-putting. Wants to occasionally do this in the middle of browsing / replying causing errors and frustration.
3) cloudflare splash screen that indicates it will disappear in 5 seconds but never does. Can eventually crash the browser. Can be observed cycling through Ray Trace IDs. Unable to access the form at any point. Seems to be especially prone to those who do not buy a new computer or device every year.
I think the consensus is the form was operating just fine before the stricter cloudflare enforcements. You already need to have known users and sign in to which has seemingly been adequate to protect us from unwanted content and users. The balance between security and usability is a constant, however in this case it seems that the balance is shifted too much to the security side at the peril of usability. I am a user who has been completely blocked out on my main computer because of this and now find I can only access the form on my tiny screen mobile device. This is not an ideal experience and will hamper and limit my continued involvement on the form. It seems I am not alone in this and could be detrimental to the community.

Hot a new symptom... Got an email notification that there was a response to this thread that I am subscribed to. I clicked the link in the email (on my phone as my main computer is still locked out by Cloudflare). The link took me to a "prove I am human puzzle" which I passed out to be dropped at an FTE branded error stating something to the effect that a security token was missing. Going back to the email and clicking the link again simply brought me to the expected FTE thread and post. But what a runaround... This added resistance to forum engagement is stifling. I have hopes that it will be solved tomorrow as it is a business day.
