Buying plow problems

I just bought 2018, F150, 2.7L, 4X4 to plow my 65ft drive I go to plow dealer to get plow and they say they are not allowed to install one on this truck.
Whats the deal ? It has no plow prep but cant that be installed with the plow ?

the trucks is too lite for a plow.
think about it. what is going to happen when you hang 500-600 lbs 3 foot in front of the truck?

And try pushing a ton or more of a snow pile across a surface?

Sadly that vehicle is pretty much a larger mini-van---no offense but its certainly not a work truck in that configuration.

The biggest problem with your truck is the electronics...especially the EPAS...the electronic power assisted steering. In retrospect...you should have run the truck info by the plow installers. Did you buy it at a Ford dealer??? If so...and...you made known your wishes to mount a plow...shame on your salesperson. If that's the case...I'd get the Sales Manager on the phone.
