ECM help

What is the difference between all the ecms? I want to order one but I can't figure out which one to order.
will they all work, just some better than others? When I put my information of my truck in there are 19 different ones to chose from on the auto parts website.

The ECM I.D NO should be on a WHITE TAG on the box' That is where you start.
