ford390, NOW I'm beginning to catch on. Thanks for a very good explanation. (At least now I know who to be mad at!) Sure seems to me it would be doable at the manufacturers code writers palace. I read somewhere opinions that they won't because it wouldn't be cost effective. Seems to me winning brand loyalists would go a long way in long term profitability. I guess all we can do is holler at them about it and hope to get their attention. Again, thank you.
