Truck: 2020 F250 4x (6.2 w/6 speed trans and 3.73 gearing) 540 miles
Symptoms: city streets, foot off the gas coasting towards a red light or traffic ahead but not hitting the brakes yet, there is a stutter from the rear end that I can feel through the truck as if I ran over something in the road. The problem is not consistent, so I can't replicate it at will. It has happened now 5 or 6 times in the last 3 weeks. I have not been to the dealer yet, if they drive the truck it will likely not happen. Any thoughts or other that have experienced this ?

I'm pretty sure what you're describing is unknown problem with the 6R100 transmission that you have. there's also a shutter when you go into reverse sometimes that people are experiencing. No fix or even validation from Ford that there's a problem, at least to my understanding. So I'm going to correct me if I'm wrong here.

I’ve felt exact same, seems like it’s trying to decide which gear to use. I can repeat it on one section of road and my driving style (feathering the throttle for best gas mileage, downhill in a slight curve about 25mph). However if I drive it without feathering throttle, it seems non existent. So I’m going to keep watching it and may take to dealer.
I also have the same a 2020 6.2 6sp with 568 miles.
I just read through this thread, I too have the same issue but this is not what concerns me compared to the intermittent shutter when decelerating. Thanks for the link, just something else to add to the documentation when I take the truck in. I am hooking up a trailer and heading to the desert later this week, so I'm going to "exercise" the trans and test the 4x4 while out there. I want to try different scenarios and drive modes before the dealer starts diagnostics. Who knows, I might shake out some other gremlins. Thanks for the responses.
Parting thought, I am wondering if something in the Limited slip/locking diff might be trying to engage even though the lock diff is not engaged ? Random thought!
