Hi gang, I'm about to install a pair of fog lights and I'd like to put 'em right below the headlights on the bumper, however the license plate frame is right on the way on the left side. Is this an optional bumper? The WM shows the front bumper as plain and flat.
The manuals you refer to show nothing more than approximations of parts---the image you show deal with bumper mounting details, not intended to be a 100% perfect image of a bumper. Added there were probably several different bumper options, each having the same sort of mounting configuration.
If the license plate bracket interferes with your fog light plans find another location for them.
Yeah that's what I'll do as I don't want to budget for a new bumper, all the wrecking yards are still clossed in my area. They'll be a bit narrower than I'd like but they'll still function I think.
