The kitchen slide on my reflection 303 has torn the vinyl floor on the frt end. I have read the Lippert instructions on how to adjust the slide & am going to attempt it myself.
Has anyone here done this or had it done ?
Was it successful?
The slide mechanism is the electric rack & pinion thru the frame. Not the schwintek

You should have no problem as long as the issue is minor, which is to say nothing structural has occurred with the slide floor. Kitchen slides tend to run heavier than the other slides and they are far more likely, in my experience to go out of adjustment. If it requires too much adjustment, you will see the slide seals on the outside do not make good contact. There problem is something on YouTube you can watch for guidance.
I think it is minor....It barely tore the floor, It just skimmed the top, maybe about 1/2" size little circle off the very top of the flooring. Not a very big tear at all.
But I will look at the rollers, etc

Are you sure it's a slide adjustment problem? I had this happen when a clock fell off the wall and a small battery got under the slide edge cutting the vinyl.

A small rock might have initially started the tear, but I don't know for sure.
But every time the slide was opened & closed it was making it worse.
I adjusted it this past weekend and it is better now.
The plastic sliders on the bottom of the slide room still ride on the floor when it tilts down on its way in & out, but not as hard. I still need to repair the tear, and the flooring is bubbling up or delaminating in that area also.
I bought a " no parking " sign from Home depot to put on the area of the floor that's damaged.
Its a thin metal sign about 12"x12". I'll put it down every time we move the slide in & out.
My wife puts down a throw rug on the floor between the island and the slide , so if my repair isn't the best, it won't be seen anyway.

Was there a small tab sticking up that kept getting worse when the slide moved? Can you see under there to insure there's nothing under there? Mirror or a scope so it doesn't continue even after adjusting. To repair I would look at injecting contact cement into the bubble. We cover the floors to keep the cold out as we are normally walking around inside with only socks on.

Yes there was a small tab that I cut off.
There is nothing under the slide.
That's a great idea to inject the contact cement into the bubble. I'll have to figure out how to do that. Maybe put the cement into a syringe of some sort.
Our little dog was diabetic and we had to give her insulin shots, maybe one of those syringes will work.
Those slides "tip" as they move in and out and it may not just be an adjustment issue. It should be adjusted so that the seals are the same "tightness" all the way around when the slide is both in and out. Check out the Grand Design Owner's Forum (the newer technical forum). There are several threads over there on this topic. BTW - what year is your 303? If still in warranty, GD should make this right.

Its a '19 and we bought it in Sept '18, so out of warranty. I called Grand Design about it & the first thing the rep asked is if we had the slide adjusted or not.
I'm a member at the My Grand Rv forum but not the actual Grand design forum. Ive read about the floor tearing issues since we bought the trailer and all was good
until, the last time we used the trailer.

I think an insulin would be too small, go to any feed store and ask for a larger needles they use on large animals, IE horses & cows. Some states are picky about syringes, wife takes and injectable we refilled out of state, the pharmacy would not sell us syringes. We got them from a feed store, state we live in lets you buy across the counter. Never looked but a big box store may have them.

Ok thanks. We don't have any syringes anyway, after our dog passed, my wife got rid of the left overs. They probably would have been to small anyway.
