I've ordered my F450 and it should be here in a few more weeks. I'll be putting 20 inch Fuel 'Street Spacing' wheels on it with 275/65/R20 Toyo AT3s. So, I sent an email to Hypertech asking if their speedometer calibration tool corrects only the speedometer needle, or if it corrects the Odometer as well.
They emailed back this morning and said that they don't have a product for the 2021 F450 yet. He claims the computer and connections are not the same in 2021 as they were in 2020.
Obviously the F150 was redesigned for 2021, but the 2020 and 2021 F450's are nearly identical in pretty much every component as far as I'm aware.... so, does this guy know what he's talking about?? Is the computer and connections really different from 2020 to 2021?
I have a son who works with car manufacturers and he says that Ford is limiting what and who can write to the can bus on the 2021's my 2021 can't use Z flash for flashing the lights ETC

Yup. The ZFlash module that I used in both a 2017 and a 2019 are worthless since I got a 2020. Not much of a reply from them either when I inquired about an update. The usual "keep an eye on our website" crap. Might be time to move on to another product for me.
The change started in 20, Ford is protecting the canbus and has totally changed the module programming strings. This is very evident when you compare as built files. My Z flash just sits now, I don't see them being able to update it to work.
Not sure what you mean by Job 2, but sounds like it could be interesting getting this thing correctly programmed!
Job 1 is when they start out with a model year, and can't say all years and models role into a Job 2, but it is usually a mid year update which could be minor, or sometimes even more major things. An example would by my wife's 2018 F150 was Job 2 mid year update and they put a but of things in it that are on the 2019 models. Ford Pass Remote Start was one.
Ah, good to know. That helps. Thanks - I have a lot to learn. Sounds like I might be wise to wait on ordering some of this stuff until I have the truck here so I can confirm things.
