Reference source for SD 6.7L owners
Being new to the Super Duty 6.7L, in an effort to be a more informed owner I have been trying to absorb as much information as I can learn. Joining FTE has been very helpful. Several times I have posted links to sources I’ve run across and based on some who have commented, they are many other newbs like me also trying to learn.
I originally post the follow in another thread. Then I figured maybe it would be more appropriate to create a new Thread as a reference source for others. There is a wealth of knowledge being offered for newbe and the seasoned SD 6.7L group here.
The guy does the videos under the name of Power Tech Talk and goes by the name Arod. I have watched many many of his well produced videos and get the feeling he actually works at a Ford Dealership or Ford Service Center. His videos are geared toward helping the DIY'r service their truck. Arod explains the steps he takes while passing along hints and tips. After watching his videos, I know he is the Ford Tech we all wish was doing the various servicing on our Super Duty trucks. If you need an example of his attention to detail just watch his simple video on an Oil & Filer change. By contrast, I had my trucks oil and filter changed two weeks ago at a ford dealer in the Pacific Northwest. The new filter was covered in black oil, the wind from driving splattered oil on several parts and I had a few oil spots on my driveway. This oil was likely from the top of the filters rim that had oil dripping onto it while putting the new filter on.
