I have stock 275 55/R20 tires on stock rims.
I want to change the tires to a more aggressive, severe snow rated tire. No intentions to lift or level the truck. What are the largest tires I can put on w/o rubbing ?
I think I will be going with 275-60 x20s if I ever wear out the OEM tires. They are said to fit without rubbing, and will not have big enough impact on speedometer readings to require fiddling with that.
I have the Hankook ATM tires and they have been fine so far. No snow use, and one rough road and some mud. I'd be tempted to buy them again if the price was right.
275/60/20s fit well. No modifications needed. 33” tall vs your stock 32”. You probably don’t even need to adjust the speedometer. Double check with an app on your phone like speedbox. Try to avoid load range E tires as they will ride harsh.

My son-in-law went with 275/60/20s and they fit well. He went with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, which is a great tire. Smooth, quiet, great grip in wet weather.

AT3W's are great tires. I just put some on Old Rusty this morning. Unfortunately I won't be putting them on my Raptor when the stockers wear out because they are only available in load range E in my size and they are a lot heavier than my stock tires. But they ride great on the Bronco.

I had the AT3W's as well. I found at about 30K miles they got real slippery in wet weather. They had plenty of tread on them still but I got rid of them because of how slick they were on wet roads. The front end almost washed out a few times and I said, That's it. Went with the Cooper's and haven't looked back.

Weren't those load range E 275/70/18s? Not a fair comparison as many E rated tires will have a different tread compound.
