I am going to move from my cclb 2017 lariat to a ccsb 2021. I love the fuel capacity, but hate the size and inability to take the truck anywhere. I use the long bed to its capacity maybe once a year on an elk hunt, and even then the length of the vehicle is a problem.
I tow a fairly large fishing boat about 5k miles a year. It’s a triple axle trailer and weighs probably in the 12k range. What impact will the Tremor package have on towing? Does it de-rate capacity by a large margin? I looked at one on a lot, and the max payload sticker was only 300lbs less than my current 350. Oh, and I am going to get a 250 because CALIFORNIA sucks with 350 registration fees.
thx
My 350 has the same sticker on the hitch. My load sticker in the door jamb is just over 3000. So basically the Tremor is just a factory 2” lift with no reduction in capacity?

Compared to your current truck, yes. You get a limited slip up front, leftover chrome PVD wheels painted black, an extra traction control profile, and a couple of crooked stickers on the bedsides. .

I use mine to tow an unclosed car trailer as well as a 32' CC boat and it handles both with no issues. Good luck.
Well I'm hoping a tremor would fit in my garage door, so if the 350 has more or stiffer springs, it may not fit.
I am thinking of a gas 7.3 this time around...
I bought my F350 Tremor to make sure I didn't need to worry about the Yellow sticker again. After being over loaded according to the Yellow sticker on my F250, I told myself never buy an F250 again.
Tremors have a ~200 lbs. reduction in towing.

I am not an expert on this, but I have done some research. I'm picking up a f250 7.3 tremor I ordered in a few weeks. From what I can see there is no difference in the springs on the tremor model between the f250 7.3 and the f350 7.3. in fact it appears they may be identical trucks except for badging and stickers (note this only applies to tremor versions). So I expect a 350 and 250 will probably stand the same height and drive the same. I didn't need the extra (legal) payload capacity and here in California the 350 costs more to register, so I did the 250. There is a forum that discuses the super duty tremor exclusively fordtremor.com you may find that helpful for research.

Someone correct me, but I was thinking the F350 Tremor (6.7) was rated at 5000 -6000lb lower towing capacity (conventional) when compared to the non Tremor F350 6.7. Not sure how the gassers compare. I love the looks and options of the Tremor but was thinking it was rated way too low for me (occasional excavator tow).... hope I'm wrong.

You're correct, however I think there’s an error in the Towing Guide. Unless I’m misreading it, the 250 is rated higher.
