The first pic has wax from jelling.

anti-jel additives prevent the wax from bonding to each other .....the cuase of jelling in diesel fuels during cold climate.

The second picture is globules of water. That's my guess. Water goes to the bottom, fuel to the top. I've never had any water in the drain samples I've taken, so I don't have a firm reference to go by.

Id always save receipts just in case there is damage done. I know of a few cases of people fueling up and getting a ton of water which ended up with a dealer fix of a catastrophic fuel system failure in the sum of $10k+. A receipt or any kind of proof is always good to have when it comes to insurance claims for damages.
