I have the gull wing tool box on my truck, absolutely love it. Easy to access and plenty of room. Zero issues so far.

Weatherguard and don’t look back. Pricey but way better build quality than some of the generic big box brands.

I bought a craftsman at lowes. Pretty cheap, but seems well built & works fine.

Ive had 4 or 5 cheaper ones on my last trucks. Sprung for a Weathergaurd this time and it was immediately apparent why they cost more. They are very well built and better designed. If your going to be using your toolbox often then I would recommend the Weathergaurd.

If just for storing some nice to have items then pick whatever looks good to you.

I went with WickumWeld and am very happy. I needed a special order to fit behind my Transfer Flow and in front of my B&W 5th wheel hitch. They built my perfect toolbox. Headache Racks | Wickum Weld | United States

I'd agree 110% on Weather Guard
https://www.weatherguard.com/

Going back to a regular cab I went with a bit bigger box this time, I could go on and on about the quality and durability
however being around as long as they have is a testament to this.

Weatherguard has that Defender line they sell in the big box stores. I’d avoid the Defender line and just stick with the plain old contractor grade Weatherguard. The hardware, latches and build quality are much better.
