Amen to that...here we are expounding on the fine engieering and the good looks of the Bronco...now 2 Bowers has brought up a point ANY red-blooded American male will appreciate....THE CHICKS DIG IT!
1. because there are too many Chevy people out there.
2. Broncos and fords in general pose a challenge when it comes to upgrades.
3. THeir engines dont smoke after 60 thousand miles.
4. Why be like everyone else out there?
5. Fords (Mustang Excluded) dont rattle, squeak or creek at every bump in the road.
6. Personally, I think Ford engines last a heck of a lot longer and are more reliable. Take a look at mine, 204,000 miles and she is still running great.
personally... i like both the jimmy/blazers and the broncos... however i would agree that broncos do look alot better topless... havent you seen american pie? lol.. well also the 351 gives you plenty of power to do basicly anything you want... daily driver, off-road, towing... ect.
haven owned(some) and worked on(many) of both the stallions and the braziers i really feel the two shouldnt even be lumped in the same class - when you completely tear each one down and rebuild them the difference in quality, workmanship and strength stares you right in the greasey mug every part from the front bumper to the tailgate is thicker stronger and better on the bronco besides search google for bronco forums and than blazer forums and ask yourself why we outnumber them ten to one? theres just so much more to love which is besides the point because if u really have to try and convince these guys that the bronco is better maybe they should be drivin chevy
Might as well toss more in there. Yes, the Bronco is soooo much better looking than the Blazer/Jimmy. It has timeless and classic lines, whereas the Chevies look like a wooden block.
That, and as a 300 I-6 owner, Chevies I-6 version was considered a pos, whereas the 300 is an indestructible tank used in vehicles up to 10 tons or more, including every UPS truck until they went to diesel. Put one of those in a Bronco and you cannot stop it.
I also second the wife wanting one. She wants to sell her convertible turbocharged sports car so she can get a Bronco!
i have never know broncos to be anything other than 4wd fun toys that will take you anywhere your heart desires and will get you many good looks from the ladies ... most of the women i talk to all say the go ape **** when the meet a guy with a nice bronco. i think they like the feeling that their man can overpower the guys car next to them and do it with style lol.
I got a 95 Bronco about eight years ago. Got a 6inch lift and lockers. I bought it with 43,000 miles and now its got 139,000 miles. Never had any engine or trans problems. That TTB front suspension rides really nice but is hard to align. Biggest tire recomended is 35inch with stock axels.
I was in Moab Utah once and was following a Hummer. The driver was impressed on how my Bronco keeped up with his $80,000.00 Hummer! I got some video of my last trip on the John Bull trail. Check it out. YouTube - John Bull Trail July 6 2008
