Front U Joints

Hello I have looked on old forums for how to change my front U-joints and it seems that I cant find the how to part of it. I have a 91 ford 4 wheel Drive . The question mostly is do the axles come out once the rotor is removed ?

i believe that there is a spindle that you also have to remove. just get you a good manual to help you out. it will give you all the correnct numbers for torque specs.

yeah you have to pull the spindles offand the the whole shaft will pull through the srearing knuckle. the u-joints on the axle shafts have the clips on the inside of the yokes. hope that helps ya
