Hey guys, I'm new here but have owned many Fords over the years. My dad passed away and left me his trucks. I now have 4 with a new one on the way.
I have a buddy interested in this truck but I don't have a clue what to tell him for price. I don't want to rip him off but want to get a fair price. Seems like prices are all over the place so it has been really hard to nail down a price.
Installed new battery today and truck ran off starter fluid/gas directly into carb. Main tank has old fuel so I don't want to run it off that and didn't want to put anything in aux tanks until they were filled completely with fresh gas.
Nice truck, value is extremely subjective and also very sensitive to the area you are selling it in. My opinion and opinion only is $7-10k on the east coast and $5-8k out west..... I got my reasons for my guestimate, but take it for what its worth, find the guy who reaaaaalllly wants it and the price can only go up... good luck, hard parting with Dads trucks..

You are correct about that.. I'm on the east coast. Central/eastern NC to be exact. Thanks for your input. There's a lot of good memories in that truck. Learning how to drive, tons of dad driving me to baseball and football practices, even some things I cannot mention to anyone here(or my wife) lol.
I’m on the East and I know that would go for a pretty penny. I’d say 8-12k pretty easily. I considered buying a truck not nearly as nice for 10.
But if you know your buddy will treat it right, it might be a good feeling to be able to keep those memories close to you
People are here go nuts for anything without tons of rust lol.
here’s a guy who sells classic dent sides and now has a bronco for sale in NJ. This truck and another both sold pretty quick.
