It was homade. You might want to contact him if it's for sale. That's a nice truck. Is that an original tank setup on the back?

I don't know anything about the truck, just happened to see the ad, it's at the bottom of my post, looks like he wants 11k for it?
If it was closer to me I would love to check it out for Homeade, looks really nice.

Not a bad price for a restored truck. If the body and paint are decent, the price of the truck is worth that alone.

I'd get that bad boy started alright. I would love to add that truck to my fleet. $11K, if I had it probably isn't a bad price at all. I am tired of buying wrecks and patching them together. The next vintage vehicle I buy the only tool I'm going to need for is an ignition key.

BTW, I can't load the original ad. I just keep getting the spinning donut. I am using IE so that's probably why. That damn spinning donut is as annoying as the old hour glass.

I just called my cousin, who is in the local joint tipping some cold ones to tell him about the tanker and he is now on his way home to check it out. It sure looks like a nice tanker, maybe he will be interested, thanks guys, Garry

That's interesting, because I had the same experience. I'm using Google Chrome, so it's not just an IE thing.

My dad, who is 70+ has finally realized this. He is now talking about selling off all his projects and buying something that he can drive and appreciate without scraped knuckles and lots of headaches.
I'm just hoping that some day I'll learn that lesson.

For now, I'm still stuck in the mode of trying to build something with nothing but a shoestring budget and sweat equity

I know where an older smaller tanker body is. Probably for a 3/4 or 1 ton. That would make a neat project....some day.

HI Garry,

That truck is four hours from me one way, but there are lots of goodies up in that area (thats near where I got my 53) I almost went near there 2 weeks ago to look at a F-1. but have too many trucks.... If you guys are getting serious let me know and maybe I could find an excuse to go up there and pick something up?? and If so would be more than happy to look it over in person.
